Apple Maple Turkey Burgers with Maple-Dijon Sauce
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 4 tablespoons real maple syrup
- 1-1/4 pounds ground turkey breast
- 1/4 cup bacon bits
- 1/2 cup chunky applesauce
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- Combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and 2 tablespoons of the maple syrup in a bowl.
- Mix together the rest of the ingredients and form into patties; full size for entrée burgers and smaller for appetizer portions.
- Cook on your outdoor grill or indoor grill pan or in a frying pan on your stove over medium-high heat until browned on both sides.
- Serve on buns with lettuce and tomato or other fixings of your choice with a spoonful of the sauce on top.
