Apple Maple Turkey Burgers with Maple-Dijon Sauce

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 4 tablespoons real maple syrup
  • 1-1/4 pounds ground turkey breast
  • 1/4 cup bacon bits
  • 1/2 cup chunky applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

  1. Combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and 2 tablespoons of the maple syrup in a bowl.
  2. Mix together the rest of the ingredients and form into patties; full size for entrée burgers and smaller for appetizer portions.
  3. Cook on your outdoor grill or indoor grill pan or in a frying pan on your stove over medium-high heat until browned on both sides.
  4. Serve on buns with lettuce and tomato or other fixings of your choice with a spoonful of the sauce on top.
